The Start of Something Good...School

I was so sad for school to start this fall.  Summer had been incredibly busy, but so fun and different from our rigoous schedule we have during the school year.  There were no lunche to prepare at 5am, very few appointments to make, and errands became minimized.  This summer started as all others-lots of activities and field trips.  Towards the end of the summer, we all just wanted to stay home.

And, here we are...the start of a new school year.

Alice's First Year in Dual Immersion
Fashions fo the times?  colored skinny jeans, v-neck tshirts, Vans with black socks, cargo shorts (plaids are out)...and, anything goes for the younger kids.  I quizzed the older kids to know just whick styles are in and which are last year's styles.  Some day you will have to ask Nate about his "vandals".

Anna informed me:  "No more collared shirts!"

Two shop classes will be Ben's favorie classes this year.
