Fun Saturdays in the Summer

Summers are just so much fun! I love to look online each year and find fun things to do for free around town. We have a lake near our house that offers a fishing clinic once a year for kids. They provide the poles, bait, and a fully stocked lake. This is the second time we have done this activity in the summer. Last year, Sarah won a fishing pole. This year, we didn't win anything, but it was fun to watch as others around us caught some huge catfish. We didn't catch anything, but it was a lot of fun. I love doing things like this during the summer. Afterwards, there was a BBQ and bouncy toys. It made for a great morning.

After fishing, we heaeded to the REAL soccer clinic the MLS team was providing for local kids. We did this last year also, and the kids all get soccer balls, a t-shirt, and the clinic. They have a ton of booths to get free junk (I mean stuff) and fill up the stroller. The kids also got to climb a climbing wall and it just made for a perfect day. We all went home tired, but sure had a lot of FUN!
