Yesterday was a fun day for Nathan...He found himself a car! We still can't believe that he got a CAR! Tim and I are so excited for him! After working so hard this summer mowing lawns, and talking to a lot of people, he was able to find a car that would be just right for him. The specs: 1989 Mazda MX-6, 162000 miles, and only minor repairs that need to be done. The car runs...Nate is taking an auto maintenance class next semester that will help him learn how to make his car run even better! He has 8 months before he turns 16 to get the car in perfect running condition.
It is truly satisfying as a parent to see your child dream up a way to make something like this happen-it seems the greater the effort, the greater the joy.!
