Nathan and Sarah attended Stake Youth conference a week ago, and Nathan was able to go to his first dance! He was both nervous and excited. After coming home, he informed us that he would be going to more dances-it was a success.
A summer tradition-buddy burners. Ben and Anna added something new to this tradition: solar ovens. We had fun cooking hot dogs and taffy we had gotten at the July 4th parade. Yummy (Starburst are just as good)...
Ben finished sewing his pajama shorts, and is ready to make more. After making his own, he created a pair for his Build-A-Bear.
For July 4th, we hiked "Y" mountain as a family. We ate Subway to the top, and hid some cans of soda for our next adventure we may take up the mountain in years to come. The kids all loved shopping at the BYU Bookstore (Sarah has decided that she wants to work there when she goes to school), eating Creamery ice cream, and watching the fireworks at the stadium.
