The fort/shed project continues. For the past month, Tim has spent all day on Saturdays working on this-it has been quite a project. But, as it comes along, the vision of what it will do for our family comes alive. This weekend Tim was able to mount the door and put in the doorknob.
This doorknob has a lock and deadbolt to it. Ben put it clearly when he announced to me that he knew why Dad had put a lock on the door-to keep the kids away from his tools.... Of course, now we need to buy new tools to keep out of reach since all of Tim's old tools are lost. Yes, the fun has just begun with this project. We envision little gadgets for the fort every day. We do know it will have a fireman's pole, a zip line, and a fun balcony. The kids already love to play in it-one of the first things they made was a bucket that could be pulled up to the window of the second story-Just like Grandma and Grandpa Crockett's bucket.
