Ben had a lot to look forward to this year as his birthday approached.
Tim was able to get tickets to see the Priesthood Session at the Conference Center this year-that was especially neat, since Ben was able to go as well. Dinner was enjoyed at Five Guys.
This was the year for a "friend party". This only happens once every four years, and they are cherished when they do come. Tim took 6 12-year olds to the ranch for an overnight stay. Good thing our memories fade with time, and that William is only six...it gives Tim six years to forget what it's like to spend 24 hours with 6 12-year old boys with VERY little sleep :).
And then there is the "Family Birthday", being done with Primary, starting Activity Night with all of his friends, receiving the priesthood, finishing Faith In God, getting a temple recommend, and collecting fast offerings today. It has truly been a great week for Ben. His comment about the week? "I am tired of interviews." HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEN!

It takes work to turn 12! I love this age and how excited they are to have the priesthood. Enjoy!
