Thanksgiving Weekend 2010

We had a dreamy Thanksgiving weekends-one of those you plan in your mind, only to have it turn out even better than you had pictured it. We spent the morning of Thanksgiving watching the parade on TV, and then eating dinner with Rinda and family. That night we had a humongous pie night and played games together. VERY relaxing and fun!

The next morning, Tim set off bright and early with Will, Ben, and Anna to find us the perfect Christmas tree in the woods. And, while they were gone, we made LOTS and LOTS of Christmas treats! I think we made almost everything we usually make, all in one day!

The kids had a ball finding the best tree we have ever had, and we had fun in our snuggly warm home, licking bowls, and trying our conncoctions. Yummy!

There were a few Hallmark movies (from the Hallmark channel) thrown into the mix, Nathan and Tim skiied for a day, and we even got Christmas lights hung, with a great "Y" sign, made from blue and white lights that got hung on our fence.

It was simply one of the best weekends we have had in a long time.
