Lion King at Capitol Theatre

One night at the dinner table, we were talking about things the kids would like to do to "recreate." Sarah casually mentioned that it would be fun to see the Lion King. It was playing at the Capitol Theatre for the last two weeks of September.

We love living so central to so many wonderful venues! While Mom was here, we spent one night looking for tickets (thanks for all of the good tips!). We found some great seats, and I surprised Sarah with the tickets one day after school.

It was such a fun night to go to the theatre together! The show was amazing! We got to see all of the animals going down the aisles, and we were in awe at the artistry it took to create the animals. Sarah got a t-shirt as a souvenir, and had fun wearing it to school today. As she put it, "the show was the topic of conversation today in US History." Attention is so much fun as a teenager.

We are already making plans for two more shows next year. We can't wait!
