We have been waiting a year since finishing our wood flooors to put in the carpet. Don't ask why it has taken this long, but we really had good reasons. It is SO nice to not have any more loose carpet hanging on to the wood floors. We love the smell, the feel. I guess waiting this long really helps you appreciate when you finally do get carpet. One of the kids even commented that it would feel nice to sleep on it overnight....It was a great thing for us to get done this week!
