red, white, and blue...

What a great July 4th! Murray City has plenty of entertainment, and we took advantage of that. We got up early on Tuesday morning for the parade. The goal there is to gather as much candy as possible from people throwing it from the floats. We always run into irritated parents that our kids are so aggressive about getting candy...

We headed over to Murray Park where the kids hunted for money in hay, played hockey and got a free jersey, got squirted with the firemen's hose, tossed water balloons, and had a tug-of-war.

That night after a fun BBQ, we headed back to the park for fireworks and then lighting off our own (graciously given to us by Carole) at home. We even had homemade ice cream to boot. It was a once in a lifetime day and long to be remembered.
