Tim heard of this great little "treasure" of a spot that he has been dying to check out. He woke up Friday morning and decided that this was the day to check it out. He told the kids, gathered a lunch, and supplies. It was a 2 1/2 hour drive to this spot, but everyone thought it was well worth it. One they got to the spot, they watched others, asked them some questions, and then got to work themselves. After a few hours of digging, they were able to come home with a 40 lb. bag full of geodes. And, the question of the day is whether it was more fun digging for geodes, or cracking them open! We have already had requests from members in the ward to take them to the spot, and we have plans to make a camping trip out there this month.

3 blogs in one day?? that is pretty impressive. it would be a lot of fun to go out to that site together when we get back. camping would be a lot of fun.
